The Construct3D 2023 Expo Hall is at RH116 - Maker EventSpace (6 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY), adjacent to the NYU MakerSpace and the MakerSpace Foyer, the central hub for meals and snacks for the conference. Exhibitors should expect high traffic during refreshment breaks, including morning coffee breaks, afternoon snacks, and specific Expo Hall sessions (see Expo Hall Hours below). Tables should be staffed during these times, except when booth staff are in workshops.

Optional Expo Hall hours extend from 1:30pm-5:30pm on Wednesday and 1:00pm-5:00pm on Thursday during the afternoon workshop programming, allowing exhibitors to schedule one-on-one time with attendees. Many participants will keep tables open throughout these workshop blocks, and the Conference Team encourages engaging with attendees during these periods.

What to Expect at Your Expo Hall Booth

  • Table and Space: A 6 ft. x 2 ft. table in an 8 ft. x 5 ft. space within the EventSpace.

  • Signs and Displays: Self-supported; exhibitors may cover tables and bring standalone signs (be mindful of neighbors).

  • Electronics: Power small devices (e.g., computers, monitors, 3D printers); outlets available but bring your own extension cords and power strips.

  • Promotional Materials: Vendors may distribute SWAG at their table.

  • Registration: One conference registration included; additional ones available online.

  • Availability: 30 tables, first come, first served.

  • Special Requests: Contact us for special power needs or other accommodations.

  • Layout: See diagram below for placements within the NYU Tandon EventSpace.

Expo Hall Setup and Breakdown Schedule

  • Location: NYU Tandon Maker EventSpace, RM 116, 6 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201.

  • Shipping: Contact Molly Ritmiller at Mer497@nyu.edu before shipping to the above address.

  • Setup Time: 12:30pm to 5:00pm, August 1st, 2023.

  • Primary Dismantle Time: 5:00pm to 7:00pm, August 3rd, 2023.

  • Additional Breakdown Time: If you require access to the loading dock or additional breakdown time, we offer 11am - 5pm on Friday, August 4th, by arrangement only. Please contact Molly Ritmiller at Mer497@nyu.edu first to let us know.
